Superdex 200 Increase 10/300 GL is a versatile, prepacked column for size exclusion chromatography in small-scale (mg) preparative purification as well as for characterization and analysis of proteins with molecular weights between 10 000 and 600 000, such as antibodies.
Increased resolution vs Superdex 200.
Reduced runtime vs Superdex 200 for quicker results.
Versatile use for both preparative and analytical purposes.
Suitable for a broad range of proteins, especially for antibodies
Superdex 200 Increase is the next generation of size exclusion chromatography (gel filtration) resins offering versatility and higher resolution within a shorter time frame compared to Superdex 200.
The Superdex 200 Increase 10/300 GL column is well suited for small-scale (25 – 500 µL) preparative purification such as the polishing step in a purification procedure, where mg amounts of highly size-homogenous target proteins can be achieved. It is also well suited for characterization of proteins, such as aggregate analysis of antibodies, size homogeneity analysis of membrane proteins, or protein-protein interactions, where high-quality data can be achieved.
The increased resolution of Superdex 200 Increase compared to Superdex 200 is a result of the smaller bead size (mean bead size 8.6 µm), giving higher purity and better analysis results.
The Superdex 200 Increase 10/300 GL column is a versatile tool in your protein purification toolbox, perfectly suited for e.g., antibodies. The resin has a broad fractionation range that allows separation of a large variety of proteins (Mr 10 000 to 600 000) with an optimized resolution for the antibody molecular weight range (Mr 100 000 to 300 000).
Superdex 200 Increase resin is alkali resistant and supports clean-in-place (CIP) procedures, which allows you to benefit from the column versatility by using the same column for different proteins. Alkali resistance differentiates agarose-based resins from silica-based resins. In addition, the possibility to the clean the resin ensures a long lifetime forthe column.
Superdex 200 Increase reduces your runtime compared to Superdex 200. The high-flow agarose base matrix has excellent pressure/flow properties, which in combination with the smaller bead size allows for high flow rates and increased resolution.
